We updated a little while ago that we had sent the seats off with all the bits we had bought to be completed. We had done a reasonable good job but we were not quite fully there, we knew we had to make sure they were 100% right and not what we thought was right. We have changed the fabric we began with opting to use a much stronger fabric, this “should” ensure the longevity of the seats. We used the same foam and insulating materials so that the seats would be comfortable and safe. We received a message the other day informing us that they are ready and a photo. We hopefully will pick the seats up this friday, we are REALLY looking forward to seeing them as the photo on the phone looked amazing!!

So Bill has had to take the head off again, have it machined and put the whole thing back together again. Poor Bill, but I guess now he  knows every square inch of that van!
Bill took some photos so as soon as I have them I will post.

Today was difficult to get the van onto a trailer. What should have been a quick task took a lot longer. We broke the slide out step, not sure if we can fix it but fingers crossed!
We also discovered new engine problems, *sigh*. We hope it’s nothing serious, the last time the engine was worked on it took up a lit of time. We want to finish this off so Henk and Pien can go traveling!!

The Rhombus Explora is about to be relocated to our new temporary home. We hope to finish this epic project soon, we have everything ready to finish it and everything ready to fit it out beautifully. It’s just a matter of time!
